Meet owner Mandy :)

“ I started Lakehouse Candle Company in November of 2020, while I was a Professor of Psychology at Butler University. At first, I focused on online sales, farmers markets, and craft fairs. At the time, I was pouring every candle in the kitchen of our lake house (hence the company name!) until I upgraded to a dedicated studio space in our basement. I poured candles at night and on weekends, dreaming of opening a store one day. In April of 2023, my dream came true! I opened my shop in May of 2023, left my 15 year career as a professor in June of 2023, and I've been self-employed ever since. “
